The Seattle Playwrights Salon is a public reading series founded in 2016 and curated by artistic directors Margaret O'Donnell and Carolynne Wilcox.  SPWS meets at The Conservatory Seattle from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. the second Friday of the month.  The Salon hopes to highlight and nurture new works by local Seattle playwrights.

The Conservatory Seattle is a coffeehouse, community meeting place, and artists’ workshop in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood.

The Salon is one of the few free, regularly scheduled evenings in Seattle where playwrights and actors can bring new plays in development to the public, followed by conservation among audience, playwrights, and actors.
